The character
Shin Hati
Shin has spent most of her life as a slave, so long that she can't remember seeing the sky. Now she's running through a forest at night with her mother and a handful of escapees, hunted by mercenaries.
She's scared, and she's brave anyway: she protects the people she loves. And there's something around her that nobody can explain, a pulse of power that keeps time with her breathing.
The actor
Willow
Willow started young and by the age of 7 was playing Cosette in Les Misérables both in the West End and on the UK Tour, despite her parents' wishes for her to become a doctor. Many notable productions have followed including Far Away at the Donmar Warehouse and most recently she was cast in the UK Premiere of Tuck Everlasting for NYMT which spent the summer at The Birmingham Hippodrome.
Despite countless appearances in front of camera, this will be her first proper film and the excitement emanating from her very being is palpable! She has also dabbled in modelling and was even June's front cover of Amateur Photographer magazine.
Adverts for SONY and Leeds Castle also rank up there as fun jobs especially when they get projected 60 ft high across a moat onto the castle walls in front of eighteen thousand people! She is honoured to be a part of this amazing company and will do everything she can to do justice to Shin and her journey.
